You and I not only agree the state shouldn't be used to for the purpose of making the Christian religion flourish, I actually think it harms the Christian religion when it does so. <BR/><BR/>I think the only remaining quibble I would have is that Locke is a mere "modification" of Hobbes. It seems to me Locke was directly challenging Hobbes.
