Marxist genocides:

Over at Catallarchy, Jonathan Wilde excerpts figures from the Black Book of Communism estimating the number of deaths caused by such regimes. The two biggies are the USSR with 20 million (and Wilde notes that some estimates are far higher than that) and China with a whopping 65 million. It’s really astonishing that the term “Communism,” with all of the cold war rhetoric, never succeeding in becoming a “bad word” like “Nazism” did. Communist regimes sure have the blood on their hands to justify an equivalence between the two. Both forms of government truly were “evil empires,” to the core.
