Five weird Things about Me:
Okay. Karen tagged me with this one.
1. When I was little I wanted to be a bodybuilder/professional wrestler when I grew up. I planned on being about 6'6". When my parents told me I didn't have those genes, I insisted I could add about 4 or so inches of height by building up my shoulders (I showed them pictures of bodybuilders with huge shoulders which gave the illusion of added height).
While I haven't reached the height goal, I'd say my body is looking pretty good.
2. I once got three red cards in one semester in 11th grade. My parents found out about 5-years later.
3. I once had a mullet (picture forthcoming).
4. I have somewhere between 3-5,000 comic books, all of which I keep enclosed in plastic bags.
5. I developed a strange affinity for the Brady Bunch as a teen; I used to insist that Robert Reed was the greatest-actor-ever (better than Brando and Olivier) and met Barry Williams when he spoke at my best friend's college.

Hey Jon, have anything in those 3-5 thousand bags that's worth bragging about? Any gems that'll net you some nice cash down the road?
I never got into "collecting" for the purpose of "investing" and when I was younger I didn't have the $$ to invest in expensive comics.
But I still bought some stuff while new that has gone up in value.
For instance, I have every single Amazing Spiderman and Incredible Hulk drawn by Todd McFarlane.
What are "red cards"?
A notice from the school that you are failing a class.
Hmmm -- that looks like a picture of you in a baseball cap not a *Mullet* haircut (but I guess I could be wrong).
And which is yer all time FAV of the comic series ya have?
:-D
That pic was a few years after the Mullet.
I was 22 then. I cut the mullet when I was 20.
Fav comic series would be tough to pick.
I like Kurt Busiek and George Perez's run on the Avengers, and their JLA/Avengers.
Of course there is Alan Moore's Watchmen (only 12 issues) and Kurt Busiek's Astro City (an ongoing series).
