I Taped This Program:

Back in 1991 when it first aired and would buy the whole DVD of the program from Robert Tilton if he sold it. Back then ABC's Prime Time Live with Diane Sawyer did an expose on Tilton which brought his empire down. As the ship was sinking, Tilton, in an one hour show, delivered a mea culpa in an ugly blue jacket. The program is filled with so many memorable one liners (like "that's singing in tongues for you illiterate folks"). And alas this 4-minute poor quality clip is all that's available on YouTube.



My favorite part of the program (not featured in clip) was at the very end Tilton brings out his now ex-wife Marte and calls her "sweet and obedient." What a creep. The farting preacher phenomenon shows that God has a sense of humor.
